
James and Ostap met at the Stanford GSB as part of the MSx ’25 cohort and quickly bonded around a shared mission to serve through technology.James, a former U.S. Army officer, began building tools to help Ukrainian mechanics maintain foreign-made military equipment. He recruited Ostap Korkuna, a Ukrainian-American engineer, former Facebook infrastructure leader, and humanitarian nonprofit cofounder, to join the effort.Together, they spent their time in business school conducting customer discovery with defense stakeholders before launching the company after graduation.
